An oil-injected compressor with good filtration still puts a measurable amount of oil into the air line; an oil-free machine has none in the compression chamber to begin with. That distinction is what auditors look for in food, pharmaceutical and electronics plants, and it is the reason hospital medical air systems are specified oil-free rather than filtered. We can supply the air purity certificate with the machine where your quality system needs the documentation.
