Liquid ring pump that uses a rotating ring of water to make vacuum, so it can swallow wet, dirty and vapour-laden gas that would wreck a dry pump.
In a liquid ring pump the sealing element is water rather than oil or a close-fitting rotor, which means carry-over that would destroy another pump simply passes through and leaves with the service liquid. That tolerance is the whole reason it stays in service on paper machines, sugar mills, distillation columns and vacuum filtration, where the gas stream is saturated and often carries solids as well.
Choosing a vacuum pump is mostly about what is in the gas stream, not the vacuum level on the datasheet – wet, dusty or vapour-laden gas rules out pumps that look perfectly capable on paper. Tell us what you are pumping and we will match it. Supplied by Unitec Trade Line from Rawalpindi, with vanes, seals and service kits available afterwards.
Price is quoted on request. Send us the vacuum level and capacity you need along with what is in the gas stream, and we will quote a landed price including duty and delivery.
